3、although it is so cruel. 2.It is , in my opinion, a film about humanity and belief , which were referred to by people again and again.,Part 3 details,When the hyena (the cook) killed the orangutan (his mother), Pi was driven mad. Then the tiger, the beast hidden in his heart, jumped out of the canva
4、s and killed the disgusting hyena.,Later on, this plot was described by himself like this:,When another storm came , Pi showed his excitement. And he began to doubt whether his belief in god is true or not. “Ive lost my family, Ive lost everything! I surrender! What else do you want?”,Then came out
5、the carnivorous(食肉的) island , which I thought represented the nirvana(极乐世界) of Hinduism .,Comparison,The shape of the island was similar to the body of Vishnu. The word “carnivorous” might means that if someone relied to much on the spiritual world of religion, he would lose himself. Aware of it, Pi
6、 made his decision to continue his journey.,At last Richard parker, the evil in Pis heart, hide himself again, deep in human civilization.,After the journey, Pi understood his mothers and his fathers words.,Science can teach us more about what is out there, but not what is in here. The journey taught him how to deal with religion and reason.,Part 4 Classic Lines,If every unfolding we experience takes us further along in life, then, we are truly experiencing what life is offering.Believing in everything at the
8、same time is the same as not believing in anything at all.Then Richard Parker, companion of my torment, awful, fierce thing that kept me alive, moved forward and disappeared forever from my life.I know Richard Parker is a tiger, but I wish I had said :” Its over, we survived.
