Today the scenic spots we will visit is the Huangguoshu Falls. Huangguoshu Waterfall is not just the first fall in china, as we
5、ll as the largest waterfall in Asia. Huangguoshu Waterfall (黄果树瀑布) is located on the Baishui River (白水河) at Zhenning Buyi and Miao Ethnic Minority Autonoumous County (镇宁布依族苗族自治县). In 1982, the Peoples Republic of China State Council approved, Huangguoshu Falls has been listed as a national key sceni
6、c spots. Huangguoshu Waterfall is 137km from the capital of Guiyang City, 45km southwest of Anshun City in Guizhou Province.It is only waterfall that can be appreciated from different position. As early as in the Ming Dynasty, More than 300 years ago, ancient famous traveler Xuxiake has described to
7、 Huangguoshu falls, who is also the first detailed describtion to Huangguoshu fall in Chinese history. from Guiyang to Huangguoshu waterfall, it will take us a half-hour by bus. huangguoshu waterfall is situated over the Baishuihe River, and it is the largest one among the nine waterfalls along the

According to folk story, there is a tree which is called Huangguoshu in the edge of a w
11、aterfall. It has two pronunciation, “huang” and “jue”. In the local accent, the pronunciation of them are closed, so the people here call it “huangguoshu” up to know. There is also the view that a long time ago legend waterfall nearby farmers like yellow fruit species, the edge of a waterfall has a

Huangguoshu Waterfall is the only waterfall with a Water-Curtain Cave (水帘洞). The cave is 40 to 47 meters high behind the waterfall, in which
