Hot Links 知识链接1. 附加疑问句也叫反意疑问句,表示说话者有一定的看法,征求对方的同意或肯定。附加疑问句由两部分构成:前一部分是对事物的陈述,后一部分是省略的问句。前者用否定形式,后者一般用否定形式;前者用否定形式,后者一般用肯定形式。两部分的人称和时态要一致。附加疑问句的主语应用相应的人称

5、代词,动词的否定形式一般用缩略形式。如: There arent any modern buildings and roads, are there?The government is trying to protect and repair the old city walls, isnt it?反意疑问句有以下几个问题要注意。(1) 陈述部分若用指人的不定代词 everyone, everybody, someone, no one, somebody, nobody 等作主语时,其附加问句的主语常用 they, 有时也可用 he; 陈述部分若用指物的不定代词 everything, so

6、mething, nothing 等作主语时,疑问部分的主语常用 it;若陈述部分的主语是指示代词 this, that 或 these, those 时,疑问部分的主语一般用 it 或 they。如:那是一辆小汽车,不是吗?That is a car, _ _?每个人都过得很愉快,不是吗?Everybody had a good time yesterday, _ _?(2) 当陈述句含有 few, little, never, nothing, no, seldom, nobody, hardly, neither, tooto, no one 等含有表示否定意义的词时,疑问部分要用肯定形

7、式。如:这个女孩年龄太小不能上学,是吗?The girl is too young to go to school, _ _?屋子里什么都没有,是吗?There is nothing in the room, _ _?他们从没步行去过学校,是吗?They never go to school on foot, _ _?(3) 特殊形式的反意疑问句陈述部分为 I am时,疑问部分常用 arent I 来反问。如:Im interested in reading story books, _ _?陈述部分为祈使句时,疑问部分用 will you 或 wont you, 用 will you 多表示

8、请求,用 wont you 多表示提醒对方注意。如:别开门,好吗?Dont open the door, _ _?准时来,好吗?Come here on time, _ _?陈述部分为 Lets 和 Let us 时。Lets 表明对话人和说话人是一个群体,所以 Lets 的反意疑问句常用 shall we; Let us 表明对话人和说话人是两个群体,所以 Let us 的反意疑问句常用 will you。如:Lets go home, _ _?Let us go home, _ _?当陈述部分有 had better (not)时,疑问部分用助动词 had。如:他最好去上学,不是吗?Hed

9、 better go to school, _ _?你最好不要吃辣的食物,好吗?Youd better not eat hot food, _ _?当陈述部分含有情态动词 must 时,疑问部分要根据 must 的含义而确定。当must 作“一定,必须”讲时,疑问部分要用 neednt;当 must 作推测意义“一定,准是”讲时,疑问部分要根据 must 后的动词原形选用相应的形式。如:我们必须努力工作,是吗?We must work hard, _ _?他准是个医生,是吗?He must be a doctor, _ _? 2. try to do sth. 尽最大努力做某事try to d

10、o sth. = do ones best to do sth. = try ones best to do sth. 意为“尽某人最大努力去做某事” 。因此文中原句也可说成:_3. protect sb. / sth. 意为“保护/ 防护某人/ 某物” 。常用短语有:protect from保护免受的伤害 如:我们应该保护身边的动物。We should _ the animals _ us. 尽量保护你的皮肤不被太阳晒。Try _ _ your skin _ the sun.4.
