10、,学生通过交换对心目中的伟人或偶像的描述,促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流,增进了友谊。1.1 Comic strip 是本单元的一个 warm-up,通过四幅漫画中两只小狗的对话引入了本单元有关伟人和偶像的话题,在这一个环节,教师可以对漫画的内容进行一些简单的提问并要求学生复述漫画所表现的内容,也可以设计一些活动或讨论的话题,为下一课时作一个铺垫。1.2 Welcome to the unit是本单元的导入部分,教师在这一课时中可以帮助学生进行从单词、词组到简单句子的分级练习。本课向学生介绍了一些名人,教师可以从课本上涉及的人物为切入点,通过给出一些动词词组或引导学生进行句式模拟来组织学生对

12、本课时练习不多,但具有很强的代表性,练习形式新颖,有很强的趣味性,帮助学生在游戏和活动中感受英语谚语的魅力。1.5 Grammar是语法部分。本课主要向学生介绍定语从句,特别是关系代词that,which,who 和 whose引导的定语从句。A 部分是对定语从句的一个综述,介绍了定语从句的一些基本特点,如通常跟在名词后面,携带着重要的信息,即可以用 who,which或 that引导等。并选用了前面阅读部分的几个例句和一篇对话帮助学生进行理解。B 部分着重向学生讲解关系代词的使用原则,并以 B1作为巩固练习。 B2和 B3是对定语从句的全方位的综合练习,分别以连词成句和改错的方式使学生思考并
13、掌握定语从句的构成原则。定语从句是初中阶段的三大重点从句之一,也是较难掌握的一种从句,教师应以从易到难的思路帮助学生完成定语从句的学习和课内的练习。1.6 Integrated skills是一节综合技能课。本课围绕名人这一话题展开听说读写的练习。A1 是有关信息提炼的练习,要求学生根据一段对 Marie Curie的简单介绍,将她的个人信息填出来。A2 是听力练习,学生要根据听力材料捕捉到更多有关 Marie Curie的信息。A3 是个写作训练,用 A1部分提供的信息把文章补充完整。 B是口语训练,以对一位名人展开讨论为情景,根据课本上的示例,在模仿的基础上进行分组练习,并逐步充实内容,展
14、开更深入的对话。1.7 Study skills 是一节学习技能课。本节课旨在让学生了解图书馆图书目录顺序,从而运用相关知识,快捷查找图书资料,搜集信息,提高学习能力。其实用性强,对培养和提高学生学习能力有很大帮助。课本列出的四项基本法则是学生重点须掌握的东西。为了使本节课不至于显得枯燥乏味,可结合杜威十进制图书分类法,开展图书分类竞赛,活跃气氛,寓教于乐。1.8 Main task是一节写作课,帮助学生了解如何写一篇人物介绍,有助于学生写作能力的提高。A 是写作前的构思,列出一个包含着主要信息的框架。 B是将包含信息的框架进行整理,基本成文。C 要求同学通过 A、B 两部分的练习,独立写作一
