It was filmed and he hoped that the Guinness office would accept it. Well, they didnt because there wasnt a category for it.,Now, if you ha
5、ve a new idea for a category, contact the Guinness office before going ahead with your record attempt. And, a piece of advicetheyre more likely to accept it if they think other people would be interested in challenging your record.,OK. Now, once youve chosen your event, you have to train for it. Its
6、 a good idea to build up your training slowly. For example, if the record for jumping jacks is three thousand, dont try and do that many straight away. When youve done enough training, do a trial runjust so you can see if anythings going to go wrong. And, when you are trying for a record, if somethi
7、ng does go wrong, dont give up. Try and fix the problem and if you cant, try and work with the problem. I knew a guy whose machine got stuck at a very low speed but instead of stopping his record attempt, he just did the whole distance at that low speed.,Ask some friends to go with you to encourage
8、your efforts and to offer advice. That can really help if youre feeling like giving up or if youre not thinking clearly.And one last piece of advice. Make sure you have proof of your new record.
