1、A Visit to Mingyue MountainLast summer vacation, I visited Mingyue Mountain, which is a famous mountain in Yichun, Jiangxi province, with several of my friends. Recently I have visited Baiyun Mountain, Nanming Mountain and Wanxing Mountain, but still I enjoy the sight of Minyue Mountain most. The sh
2、ape of the whole mingyue mountain scenic spot looks like a half moon, so it is called Mingyue Mountain. It is not only as steep as Baiyun Mountain but also as tranquil as Nanming Mountain. For its visitors, the scenery in Mingyue Mountain is a feast of eyes as well as a feast of ears. No more than t
3、hat, lets experience its charming together.After 40minutes bus we got to the foot of Mingyue Mountain. The first thing that leaps to our eyes is the lively statue of yungu standing in the half moon with open arms. She turns her face to the mountain with a kind of enjoying expression, and her dress i
4、s flying with the breeze, which symbolizes that human yearn for backing to the nature. Around the statue, there are several small ponds. The water in the pounds is so nice and cool that it drives away our summer heat as we touch it. After cooling ourselves, and taking some pictures, we continued our
5、 visit. Before we went up to the mountain, we walked along the pavement for about twenty minutes. At each side of the road, there are many kinds of plants and trees, as well as some vendors. They usually provide water, snacks and some small knickknacks which are interesting. After the pavement walki
6、ng, we began to go up to Mingyue Mountain. All of us were so excited that we appreciated the sceneries as we walked up the stairs. After a while, we came to the Mountain Stream and Spring Shadow-a tranquil sight spot with clear water flowing softly over the moss rock. Besides our laughter and cheers
7、, the only sound we could hear is the gurgling sound of water. Standing under the trees on the waterfront, I felt refreshing. How close to nature!We stayed awhile at there and we went on our journey. Then we arrived at a waterfall whose name is Chanjing, something relevant to Buddhist. The white wat
8、er makes a sheer drop from the top of the mountain, hitting the big smooth stones, splashing layers of spray, then, running forward zigzag. Looking at this sight, an ancient poem emerged in my mind: “The passage of time is just like the flow of water, which goes on day and night.” Only staying there
9、 for a while, I felt my soul had been cleaned by its clear water and I felt relaxed at once. What a peace place! Honestly speaking, there are many waterfalls in Mingyue Mountain scenic spots, such as the feilian fall, the feilong fall, the yungufei fall and the scale fall. Some of them are small, some are big; some are imposing, some are soft flowing. Each has its own characteristics; each has its own legends. Although we failed to get to the top of the mountain, we still felt happy and benefited a lot. If I get a chance to Mingyue Mountain, I will go, because it worth going.
